Fun fact; The Bellevue building dates from 1840, when it was home to two associations: Concordia and Bellevue. The chairman of the latter was the Dutch writer Van Lennep.

Decades later, Theater Bellevue and Van Lennep are still a strong match, colouring the streets of Amsterdam with a strong visual identity and striking photography for their lunch theatre shows.
