With its recent 175th anniversary, Artis has a rich heritage as the oldest zoo in the Netherlands. Yet, over the decades, it had adopted a mishmash of design styles. The challenge was to combine its history with modern visuals in a new look, covering everything from the identity, to the members' magazine, an on-site newspaper and signposts.
